                             Barney Bob Barfield, 79, of 608 Dogwood Drive, Pelham, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home.  Born on December 3, 1932 in Decatur County, Georgia to the late Barney and Candace Pollock Barfield, he was a retired bartender.  He is survived by his son Barry Barfield of Panacea, Florida, grandchildren Brian Barfield and Billy Barfield of Chicago, IL, and sister Patsy Glover of Moultrie, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  There will be no formal visitation held.  Funeral services will be conducted graveside on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Andy Hall officiating.
